Rhythmic Improvisation Exercise
______________________________________________________________
Improvising can be a little daunting when you first start out so that’s why having structured ideas to practice with is a good idea.
Today I have two easy rhythmic changes you can make to your songs which will help you change up the feel of your passages and let you experiment with improvisation a bit. One is all about changing where you place your start note, and the other is about how long you hold your end note.
Both concepts are pretty simple BUT still take a bit of practice if its your first time trying this sort of thing. Just have a go and rewind the video as many times as you need to to get it right 🙂
